Our Family and Friends Fall Picnic will be held at the Autism Project in Owings, Maryland on Saturday, September 11th starting at 2 PM.   We're planning a scavenger hunt for the kids, pumpkin decorating, water balloon competition and other events.  The AAACC will provide hamburgers and hotdogs, related fixins’ and soft drinks.   Be sure to bring a side dish, or dessert to share.

So come on out, relax and enjoy this opportunity to share some good times with your family and AAACC friends in a relaxing and understanding environment.  And please let us know if you can help out with running some games for the kids, selling raffle tickets, cooking, or cleaning up.

Please contact Careen Wallace at cwall3412@aol.com or at 301-855-8333 to RSVP and to get directions to the picnic site.

who has worked with children & adults with social learning deficits for over 20 years.

She pioneered the concept of Social Thinking:

the ability to think about and understand other people.

How we think about people affects how we behave toward them,

which in turn affects how others see and respond to us.

THE MEETING IS FREE OF CHARGE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Coffee, tea & light fare will be served.  For more information and to RSVP,

please contact Careen Wallace at 301-855-8333, or at CWallace@asdcalvert.org.
