Parents’ Night Out Dinner & Respite Care

 

Trained & experienced respite care is a rare commodity

for many families facing autism & other developmental disorders

 The AAACC understands and is offering this opportunity for families facing autism and other developmental disorders to enjoy a night out as summer break begins.  Children & teens will enjoy a pizza dinner, games and arts & crafts with their peers, while parents enjoy a quiet, relaxing dinner with other parents.

 

 

When:   Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 5-7 pm

 Where:  Respite Care:  St. Paul United Methodist Church

 Cost:  $25.00 per parent

Includes respite care and dinner (pizza/soft drinks) for the first 20 registered children/teens, ages 3-18 (provided by CCPR-TRS at St. Paul United Methodist Church – Fellowship Hall), and dinner for parents at the Naughty Gull, including non-alcoholic beverage, tax and tip.  (see menu below)

*Advanced registration is required for children/teens participating in the respite care program.

1.      Cajun Triple Delight (shrimp, scallops & crabmeat) over linguine with salad & garlic bread

2.      12 oz. NY Strip Steak with 2 sides

3.      Fried or Broiled Crab cake with 2 sides

4.      Crab Norfolk (jumbo lump crab broiled in butter, white wine & garlic) with 2 sides
